Used to be good. Not anymore

Although not the best season for story as I feel the difference between this and previous season is it's slow paced and confusing at times, the Character building this season is AMAZING. i love seeing different sides to the main core Character s and seeing them grow. Cheryl going all Norman Bates has been a highlight.

The first season was good, the second was meh?, in the third everything went off the rails, fourth season continuous to be bulls**t. i only watch it to see what new idiotic and unrealistic events they can come up with, and which other character has a secret brother or sister or relative (Cheryl' dad had a secret twin; Betty had a secret brother, who actually wasn't her brother but her real secret brother's secret boyfriend; Veronica has a secret sister; Archie has a secret uncle; there was supposedly Cheryl and Jason secret triplet who Cheryl ate in the womb, but it wasn't actually her who ate him in the womb, but the triplet came back a ghost in a doll to haunt Cheryl, but that was also fake..... i think i probably forgot someone, but you get the point.) Also, remember Betty's secret brother i mentioned, yea, his is her half-brother because Alice (Betty's mom) had a kid with FP in high school, while she had Betty and Polly with Hal. But FP, who is the secret brother's father is Jughead's dad. And Jughead and Betty are dating. And now, FP and Alice are also dating, so basically, they (Betty and Jughead) share a brother (they know they share a brother) and still date while their parents also date each other. And that' not even a quarter of the show's bulls**t...............

Riverdale está com histórias interessantes, n?o mais aquelas loucuras sobrenaturais mas sim com histórias reais e que fazem sentido. Pouco a pouco a série está voltando a ser o que era e voltando a apresentar mistérios interessantes

No, just no. The character are literal garbage and this is for children shows standards. The progression has been horrible throughout and the story line has become confusing.

Riverdale, season 1 was a great murder mystery that I enjoyed very much. The vintage setting gave the show an aesthetic that was engaging for many viewers. However, as the seasons continued, I found myself lost in the storyline, relationships and temporal setting. For example, in the beginning of the series, Veronica Lodge is 15 so in season 3, she would be a few years older, most likely around the age of 19/20. By this age she has opened a speakeasy illegally serving drinks but somehow manages to keep this underwraps and gets away with it. The 'legitness' of this seems very unlikely along with the other crazy experiences the other characters go through. I am also extremely confused as to when Riverdale is set. The Archie Comics (what the series is based off and where many of the characters come from) is set in the 1940s/50s. However, no one truly knows the period Riverdale is set in. This is because the physical setting is a typical picture perfect 40s/50s town with places such as 'Pops Choc-Lit Shop' where they serve milkshakes that were popular in the 40/50s. Also, the costuming, neighbourhood and school suggests Riverdale is a story set in the past. On the other hand, the main characters are often seen using Apple devices such as laptops and mobile phones. Another strange thing in Riverdale that is never recognised or explained, are the random episodes in the middle of the series that are not episodes in fact, they are musicals. All of a sudden, the whole episode is formatted like a 'High School Musical' movie where the whole cast breaks out into song with a choreographed dance that everyone knows. Then, the next episode is back to a tv show and life goes on. I will say that I was intrigued when the town went into quarantine but became disappointed when the next episode began and had skipped over the whole event. There are many questions I have about Riverdale but I continue to watch the series to see what the writers will do next.

First 2 seasons were great, but then the 3rd was kind of weird and not satisfying to the viewers' eye. Now the 4th is going way beyond weirdness and senselessness; there is not drama, no interesting relationship motives, and it's all negative thoughts which gives the watcher a really bad humor. Okay too much drama in a series or a movie would also be not good, but in Riverdale there is lack of intimate conversation and emotional interaction between the characters and this leaves us not developing an emotional connection that can relate us to them. It's like the director wants to put many twists but it's too much of them that I kind of made us get disgusted. You know balance is key and this series has extremely gone dry.

This show is trash that lost all of its appeals and transformed into a show that is not even a good guilty pleasure
